This service provides an opportunity for Barron Group LA to come to your organization and meet with your and take you through our Diversity Advantage workshop as a team. Our curriculum is designed as a set of engagement-based activities that will help you uncover the power of your individual perspectives and how they may influence organizational direction. This time will allow us to not only explore historic and current racial dynamics but will also allow us to, with your team, craft a strategic initiative that is unique, relevant and specific to your organization.
Workshops
This complex workshop series is designed as an opportunity for an organizational team to begin the exploration of the historic origins of racial prejudice and racism in the U.S., and how these origins shape the way in which we view and interact with others. Through a powerfully designed set of engagement-based activities, participants will also discover how racism has become embedded in our national subconscious and permeates virtually every social and economic system in our country. By the conclusion of this workshop the organizational team will be ready to begin the process of developing their plan for leveraging diversity as a strategic advantage.
Civil Rights Experience
Barron Group LA offers hands on experiential learning through their Civil Rights Experience. The Experience takes participants through the South and immerses them into the world of the freedom riders, advocates, and every day people from the Civil Rights Movement to create a deeper understanding of the history of race in America. The Tour follows a curriculum that Barron Group has developed to enhance the experiential learning.
